In this concert to commemorate the end of Japanese rule over Taiwan after World War II 60 years ago, Winnie sang a duet with Han Lei, a well-known singer from China.  She looked especially elegant and feminine in a long black gown that evening. Winnie, with her formally trained vocal, demonstrated her talent by taking a Taiwan folk song to a classical operatic level, at the same time skillfully adding a contemporary touch to the song.
