Being a very homely person,
when Winnie is not at work, she is able to stay at home
and not step out for as long as a week. She will read, surf the net,
listen to music, exercise, watch DVD or play the piano.
Winnie's home gives one a very neat, clean and spacious feeling.
The moment one steps into her
black-white picture hanging on the wall can never be missed.
And, the lady in the picture is none other than Winnie herself.
It was taken without her
notice and therefore was extremely natural.
She loves this picture very
much. Years ago, Winnie had no special
intention to buy a house. At that time,
she was staying with her brother. One day, they found this flat
sale brochure in the letterbox and they decided to take a visit since the
location was just nearby. It took her only
10 minutes to decide to book the unit. 4
years later, she received the keys of her own apartment.
And, she took personal
attention to every detail on the house renovation,
including choice of furniture.
One day, sitting on the floor of her own apartment, she suddenly felt very touched
to the point of tears, she finally has her own
placed a piano in her bedroom. Whenever she felt moody, she
would play the piano;
heard a nice song, she would immediately play it on the piano.
Besides the piano, Winnie also
keeps many books and magazines in her room, such as "Reader's Digest" and
other books on pets and forensic; she has a
reading habit before bedtime. Winnie's
house is also full of other surprises. In
one of the Charity sale she attended, she fell in love with two unique
ceramic angels lamps. When she first saw them, she
thought that one of the angels looked like herself and
the one resembles her mother. She has placed the one that
looks like her mother in the living room and the
one that resembles in her own bedroom. Winnie shared that whenever
she is feeling down and she switched on the lamps,
she would be able to figure
herself out of the problems.
Besides enjoying staying at
home, Winnie also likes to build model buildings in her free time.
She has thus far personally
completed six European-styled building models,
one of which is a church. There was a period of time
when Winnie got so engrossed in this hobby that
her parents were so worried that she may strain and spoil her eyes.
Once, when Winnie and her
friends were travelling in Europe, along the way, when she saw
many real buildings similar to the models she has built,
her heart was filled with with pleasant surprises.
It is her dream that one day
she can complete building a community. However, with her busy work
schedule and the closure of the Model shop, it may take a while for this
dream to come true.
